New year, slightly amended system, not a lot of change for you as a player! Over the coming months we will be trying a new league system aimed at giving the players that actually want to play a better deal. There will be no change to the scoring or how you arrange your matches etc (emphasis being on all players making an equal effort to contact each other), and all you have to do is continue to play your league matches. There will also be a continual effort to support all players throughout the league starting by giving the players in the lower divisions the opportunity to take part in regular free coaching sessions. For you as a player nothing much has changed other than.... If relegated you will have a wider range of opponents in the next round. You will all have an equal and fair opportunity to win the various prizes throughout the season. If you are in the lower leagues you will have the opportunity to take part in free coaching sessions. We will continue to 'weed out' the time wasters and so hopefully give you more players to play against. Also, and mentioned in the Christmas edition of the MSC news letter, at random stages during the season prizes will be awarded to various players (replacing the annual summer awards to a small selected number of players). The first award for 2016 will be €10 in court fees awarded to the 1st three players to finish all their league matches in round #1 of 2016. Award Rules. The results must be entered on the league site and then the league organiser notified by email that all your matches have been completed. The date and time of the received email will decided the 1st three. As always a walkover, for whatever reason, does not count as a played match. Wishing you all a healthy and prosperous 2016
